Potawatomi Park
One of South Bend's most active parks, Potawatomi Park's tree-shaded acres are home to a wide variety of amenties. The park has a new Splash Pad feature, an exercise track, the region's largest Universally Accessible Playground, the popular, community built Kids' Kingdom playground, an outdoors Performance Arts Pavilion and viewing area, restroom facilities and much more.
Picnic sites and Pavilions
Potawatomi Park has two covered open sided pavilions for rent which each hold 100 people, and one larger pavilion which holds up to 300 people. All pavilions include water and large grills.
Reservations are accepted year round. The small pavilions cost $50/day plus tax and the large pavilion is $220, or $125 for half, plus tax.
Alcohol is only permitted with purchase of a $10 permit from our office during regular business hours, Mon-Fri 8 am to 4 pm.
Picnic areas complete with tables and grills are also available for $10/day plus tax, each picnic area holds 50 people.

Potawatomi Pool
Located in Potawatomi Park near Kids' Kingdom, Potawatomi Pool is a place that is fun for the whole family. Potawatomi Pool has a wading pool with spray feature, a main pool with a 35 foot slide and a diving well.
Potawatomi Zoo
South Bend is home to the Potawatomi Zoo, Indiana’s oldest zoo! Originally founded in 1902 at Leeper Park, the zoo moved its current location in Potawatomi Park in 1912.
Conservatory
Located in Potawatomi Park, the Muessel-Ellison Conservatory, with its tropical plants, waterfall and quaint garden provides a warm, inviting spot to host wedding ceremonies, receptions, parties, graduation open house, recitals, showers and meetings
