Leeper Park

Leeper Park is the site of the Navarre Log Cabin honoring one of South Bend’s earliest settlers. Located at 837 North Lafayette Blvd along the St. Joseph River on Michigan Street, Leeper Park includes a USTA sanctioned tennis center with lighted courts, duck pond, rose garden and outdoor stage. It is home of the very popular Leeper Park Art Fair hosted every year in June.

Parents Too!
Take an adult class at the same time as the children’s classes.  Players of all levels are encouraged to sign up. Instructors adapt lessons to the level of participants. Whether it’s your first time picking up a racquet, or you are a league player, give Parents, Too! a shot.

After Work Tennis
Take a lesson after work! For adult players and non-players of all levels. The lesson concentrates on using tennis as a way of being healthy and fit.
Fee: $3.50 per person per visit
Times: Mon - Fri, 5:30-6:30 pm, June 14-July 1

Friday Nights
7-9:30 pm
A great chance to meet people and play singles or doubles in a social atmosphere. Recommended for players 3.0 to 4.5.

Friday Night Doubles Strategy Clinic
7-7:30 pm
Led by a Leeper Park tennis professional and followed by open doubles play. You may stay as long as you like! (wraps up at 9:45 pm) Begins June 13.

Ask a Friend
Come out and play a match. There are many times when courts are available for open play.
All day most Saturdays and Sundays, and many times throughout the week you can get a court. Come out and have fun! Call in advance for court availability.

Sunday Early Evenings 5:30-7 pm
Play several sets of doubles or singles. Recommended for 2.5-3.0 players. If there is enough
interest we will play team tennis.
