Spring Fling Spring-Break Camp
For Ages 5 to 12 (must be currently enrolled in Kindergarten)
April 5 - 9, 7:15 am - 5:30 pm

Let's get together and have a great Spring Break right here in South Bend at the O'Brien Recreation Center. We'll go on a field trip, participate in sports, games, arts & crafts, and have a pizza party. All children will need to bring a sack lunch on Monday through Thursday. A two day minimum sign-up is required. Registration forms & handbook available on-line for download.

Kid’s World

Come and have fun this summer with us. We love to make new friends and see old ones. Kids World O’Brien location will explore arts and crafts, team building, science and nature, along with our favorite fieldtrips and other surprises.

 

Kids World Pinhook location will explore heart healthy, nutritional and life time recreational activities along with our favorite fieldtrips and other surprises.

 

Camp Hours: 7:15 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Registration: March 13 -  April 30, or until full

         Registration begins Sat., March 13, 9:00 am - 11:00 am

         and will resume the following Monday 8:00am - 4:30pm,

         at O’Brien Recreation Center.  Registration is first-come, first-served.

Camp Locations: O’Brien Recreation Center, Pinhook Pavilion           

Fee: $95/R, $100/NR per child per week, or $20 per day/2 day minimum (add $5 per week for non-res)

Note: First week’s fees will be $105/R,$110 NR, which includes a $10 fee for a t-shirt. and must be paid at the time of registration. Subsequent fees are due the Friday prior to each week of camp.

A $15 late fee will be assessed to camp fees that are not received by Friday the week prior to the week  you are paying for. If not paid by Monday morning, the child will not be permitted to stay until payment has been made.

 

* Due to the operational costs of Kids’ World, we are unable to offer multi-camper discounts.

Parents are responsible for all camp fees regardless of attendance.

Forms: Registration forms will be available beginning February 16. It is highly recommended that forms be obtained early and completed prior to registration beginning March 13. However, having the forms early will not have any bearing on space availability. It is during registration that completed forms will be accepted with payment and the children registered into camp on a first-come, first-served basis.

Camp Awareness

Join us for our ever-popular summer camp.  Eight fun weeks are designed especially for kids grades 3rd-7th, and one week for 2nd graders.  The camp is held at the Izaak Walton League in South Bend.  Kids have a great opportunity to meet new friends while enjoying activities like organized games, hikes, fishing, tubing, arts & crafts, cookouts and more.

Camp Hours: 9:00-4:00pm.  
Drop-off/Pick-up hours: 8a-9a, 4p-5p
For 2nd graders: 4 day session is the week of July 5.
For 3rd – 7th graders: June 7, 14, 21, 28, July 12, 19,26, Aug 2.
(Additional weeks may become available.)

Registration: begins March 9th, 5:30-7:30pm at the O’Brien Rec Center. Doors open at 4:00pm. Limit 6 children per multiple registration.


This camp is very popular, and space is limited, so sign up early.  Spaces are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Each camper may sign up for one week only.  If sessions are not full by May 11, you may sign up for a second week during our business hours.   For your convenience, registration forms will be available beginning February 16, however, having the form in advance will have no bearing on registration which starts March 9.   Report cards with grade level are required at registration.

Fees Resident/Non-resident:
For 2nd Grade: 4 day session wk. of July 6.Cost is$80/R, $85/NR.
For 3rd-7th grade: The 5-day sessions start the weeks of June 2, 9, 16 and 23; and July 7, 14, 21 and 28. Cost is $95/R, $100/NR.
